A Dialogue Between Anark and Indiv
By Logan Feys
In A Dialogue Between Anark and Indiv, an anarchist
(Anark) and an advocate of constitutionally limited government (Indiv) explore
the philosophical and practical issues surrounding the ideal of liberty. While they each claim to champion liberty, they disagree about how it can be achieved.
Indiv presents a passionate, uncompromising case against anarchy and for
limited government. But will it persuade Anark to change his mind?
The rarely employed dialogue method of communicating
ideas has several advantages over the standard essay. A conversation between
two individuals allows for an engaging approach that features two distinct, clashing perspectives. A dialogue can demonstrate, much more clearly and powerfully than an essay, how abstract ideas are applied in practice.
